Scott Langbeen, a third-generation Langbeen builder, currently manages Langbeen Builders, Boiling Spring Lakes field operations. Scott started his career as a trim and framing carpenter in New York and North Carolina. In 1989 Scott left the United States to volunteer his time and skills to build churches in Argentina, Greece, Ireland, Germany, and Guadeloupe. When Scott returned to the states, he focused on studying for his builder’s license. In 1996 he transferred his newly gained contractor’s license to the previously established and registered Langbeen Builders, Inc.
Scott is a meticulous master carpenter who uses a hands-on approach to ensure exceptional craftsmanship. He is directly involved in the building of each new home to guarantee quality control, supervising and assisting on site every stage of the home’s construction. His direct approach minimizes potential mistakes, which helps deliver a top-quality home, and his everyday presence allows projects to stay on schedule and on budget.
For the future, Scott wants to add additional resources so the company can diversify and work on more, varied projects. But at the same time, he wants to maintain slow, steady growth, which would allow Langbeen Builders to sustain control.
